Ukraine Implicates Ex-President and Russia in Protesters’ Deaths (Ucrania implica al Ex-Presidente y Rusia en la muerte de los manifestantes) )

The police have already arrested several members of one elite riot police unit responsible for the killings, said Arsen Avakov, the country’s interim interior minister, but some others under investigation have fled to Crimea, which was annexed by Russia last month.
The inquiry’s findings, presented by Mr. Avakov as well as the country’s new general prosecutor and the head of the security services, are the first attempt by the government in Kiev to give a comprehensive explanation of who ordered and who carried out the shootings that caused an overwhelming majority of deaths in the capital’s main square, the Maidan, or Independence Square, in mid-February.



La policía ha arrestado ya a varios miembros de una unidad de élite de la policía antidisturbios, responsable de la matanza, dijo Arsen Avakov, ministro del interior interino, pero algunos otros que se investigan han huído a Crimea, la cual fue anexionada por Rusia el mes pasado.
Las conclusiones de la investigación, presentadas por el Sr. Avakov así como por el nuevo fiscal general del país y el jefe de los servicios de seguridad, son los primeros intentos por parte del gobierno de Kiev para dar a una explicación completa de quién ordenó y llevó a cabo el tiroteo que causó una abrumadora mayoría de muertes en la plaza principal de la capital,  Maidan, o Plaza de la Independecia, a mediados de febrero.
